Internal Ombudsman - Andrew Patterson

Andrew Patterson commenced as the Internal Ombudsman on 23 November 2009.  Andrew brings to the role significant experience in organizational integrity and governance from his previous public sector experience in NSW.  He has held a number of senior management positions including Chief Investigator at the ICAC, Specialist Investigator at the NSW Ombudsman, and Manager Workplace Conduct at RailCorp.  Prior to coming to Sydney in 1999, Andrew was a Detective Sergeant in the WA Police Service, specializing in child protection work.

Andrew holds a Master of Ethics and Legal Studies, a Master of Arts (English), a Bachelor of Business (HR Management), and a Graduate Diploma in Child Protection Investigation.
