The Common Eastern Froglet (Crinia signifera) is one of the most common frogs in Sydney.

It is more often heard than seen because it is very small. It lays eggs on submerged grass stalks and branch twigs. You are most likely to spot these in shallow water and even around suburban fish ponds.
