The Warringah Art Prize exhibition is now over for 2016.

Thank you to all artists who entered and to all visitors to the gallery. There were over 550 artwork entries across 4 categories, and over 1500 visitors to the Creative Space across the two exhibitions.

The Warringah Art Prize is the Northern Beaches' most prestigious art competition, offering over $24,000 in prize value. The categories include General, Youth, Waste to Art and new category in 2016, Small Sculpture.

The 2016 Warringah Art Prize exhibition was displayed at the Warringah Creative Space across two exhibitions.

Waste to Art and Youth Exhibition: Friday 5 August - Sunday 14 August

General and Small Sculpture Exhibition: Friday 19 August - Sunday 28 August

 

General category: Two dimensional original paintings or drawings in any medium, printmaking, collage and photography. Open to artists 20 years and older.

Small Sculpture category: Freestanding, non-site specific, three-dimensional object. Open to artists 18 years and older.

Waste to Art: Original works of art, sculpture, clothing, collage, jewellery. Artworks must be made from reused or recycled materials. Open to artists 12 years and older.

Youth: Two dimensional original paintings or drawings in any medium, printmaking; collage; photography. Open to artists aged 12 to 15 years and 16 to 19 years.
