Warringah ratepayers
Warringah ratepayers are entitled two beach parking permits and will receive these attached to their August rates notices. If you have recently purchased a property in Warringah, you will receive two beach parking permits attached to your New Owner Letter from Council.
Warringah ratepayers requiring additional beach parking permits can purchase these for $50 at Council’s Customer Service Centre, 725 Pittwater Road Dee Why. You will need to bring your current rates notice.
Warringah residents
Warringah residents, who are not ratepayers, may purchase parking permits as follows:
- From 1 September 2011 to 31 August 2012 - $50 per beach parking permit, valid to 31 August 2012
Beach parking permits can be purchased at Council’s Customer Service Centre, 725 Pittwater Road Dee Why.
Please note that proof of residency in the Warringah Council area must be provided when purchasing a beach parking permit.
Pittwater residents
Pittwater residents may purchase Warringah Council parking permits as follows:
- From 1 September 2011 to 31 August 2012 - $68 per beach parking permit, valid to 31 August 2012
Beach parking permits can be purchased at Council’s Customer Service Centre, 725 Pittwater Road Dee Why.
Proof of residency in the Pittwater Council area must be provided when purchasing a beach parking permit.
Residents living outside Warringah and Pittwater Council areas
Non-residents of Warringah or Pittwater may purchase Warringah Council parking permits as follows:
- From 1 September 2011 to 31 August 2012 - $215 per beach parking permit, valid to 31 August 2012
Request for replacements and conditions
Warringah ratepayers, residents and non-residents will be charged the relevant cost of a replacement beach parking permit according to the fees listed above.
However, if a beach parking permit needs to be replaced due to it being damaged or destroyed as a result of a vehicle accident, or due to vehicle theft or the sale of a vehicle, and written proof is supplied to Council, a free replacement beach parking permit can be obtained.
Beach parking permits for each year become valid from September 1. Fees and conditions for beach parking permits are reviewed annually and may be subject to change.
