Warringah Council Rangers are to provide a safe and healthy Council area by ensuring that activities have a minimal adverse impact on amenity and the physical environment by enforcing applicable legislation and Council’s policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Exercise delegated authority from Council and the General Manager in respect of a range of professional matters.
- Undertake special projects as required.
- Prepare reports addressing matters under investigation.
- Participate as a member in the activities of the Branch.
- Enforcing Council’s policies and legislative requirements.
- Respond in a positive way to customers both inside and outside Council.
- Undertake daily patrols of Council’s area to detect breaches of legislation and carry out all duties associated with the impounding of animals as required.
- Monitor and enforce vehicle parking within Council area.
- Investigate noise complaints.
