The Warringah Aquatic Centre aims to provide a comprehensive swim program which caters for all ages and abilities - from toddlers to adults and from the beginner to the elite swimmer.

Learn to Swim, Squads & Diving - Session 2 will commence 21st May
Due to the temporary closure Session 2 will commence Monday 21st May and conclude on Saturday 18th August.
For those customers who are currently in our program and wish to remain in the same session, re-booking and payment period is Monday 12th March to Saturday 24th March.
For those customers who are currently in our program and wish to change classes (days or times) can do so from Monday 26th March.

Parent and Child Water Familiarisation Classes
18 months to 3 years
The aim of this class is to provide an introduction to swimming skills such as blowing
bubbles, kicking legs and floating through activities and songs.
Your child will become familiar with the aquatic environment in a safe and fun
learning environment.
Safety skills such as safe entry, floating and returning to the side of the pool will be
introduced and reinforced throughout the sessions.
Times
- Monday to Friday, 9am - 12pm (1/2 hr lessons)
- Saturday, 8am - 12.15pm (1/2 hr lessons)
These graded classes teach water safety and swimming skills to the under 5's. Classes focus on freestyle and backstroke through activities the pre-schoolers will enjoy.

School Age Learn To Swim and Stroke Development
These classes cater for learners to competent swimmers. Graded lessons
teach freestyle with bilateral breathing, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, diving, tumble turns
and water safety.
Times
- Monday to Friday, 3.30pm - 6.00pm (1/2 hour lessons)
- Saturday, 8am - 12.15pm (1/2 hour lessons)

We offer classes for beginners up to advanced levels on the 1m and 3m diving boards. For children aged 8 years old and above. Call 9451 8000 for more information.
Class Prices
- $14.95 per 1 hour class (including GST)
All swim program prices include entry for the participant and an accompanying adult. You will be issued with two swipe cards when you enrol. One swipe card for the swimmer and the second one for the accompanying adult and any siblings who will be spectators during lessons. Please note that any other spectators will have to pay entry fee. Adults and siblings who wish to swim whilst in the centre, regardless of whether they are listed on a spectator card, must pay pool entry.
Enrolment Fee: A $6 enrolment fee applies per person enrolling in the Swimming and Diving program and is charged at the time of the first booking. This fee includes your swipe cards.
Bookings Bookings are essential for all swim programs except adult squad. There are three sessions per year. At the end of each session, current patrons have the opportunity to re-book their existing classes. Payment is required at the time of booking to secure the class.
Swim Assessments: All new patrons and those returning after a break will need to undergo a swim assessment to determine their level in the swim program before a booking can be made. The fee for this service is $4.10. No assessment is required for adult programs.
Missed Lessons
To secure a makeup class you must give notice before the missed class. Each child is entitled to a maximum of two makeup classes per session (no maximum for squads). Once a makeup is booked it cannot be changed. Makeup lessons must be used in the session where classes are missed. If a medical certificate is supplied for the missed class, you can either attend a makeup class or we can hold a credit for the lesson fee.
