Council Rangers

Warringah Council Rangers help to keep the peace and protect our environment. We rely on them to enforce legislation and Council policies in Warringah. They defend our coastline against poachers and our neighbourhood against litter and vandalism.

The Responsibilities of Rangers

Our rangers have delegated authority to enforce Council policies. They patrol the Warringah area, investigate breaches and complaints, monitor and enforce parking restrictions and impound animals when required. Rangers prepare reports on their investigations and undertake special projects for Council.
